We expertly navigate the farmers markets and grocery aisles for you, sourcing the freshest and most nutritious ingredients—organic and heirloom whenever possible. We also freshly harvest heirloom microgreens & herbs from our hydroponic farm for a true farm-to-table experience.

3. Cooking and Serving

We prepare and cook your dishes right in your kitchen or at your camp site, bringing our own chef's kit of essential tools and fresh spices to ensure unforgettable flavors. Choose to have your food served family style or individually plated for a beautiful presentation.

Pricing: Because our services are tailored to your needs, your exact pricing will depend on menu complexity, number of guests, location, service style, and seasonal ingredient availability. Below are starting prices to help you plan:

  • Retreats, Destination Weddings & Private Events: From $1,085/day for up to 8 guests

    • $95 per additional guest/day

    • Includes organic groceries, menu planning, and chef service for 2–3 meals/day.

  • Expeditions & Adventures: From $2,075/day for up to 8 guests

    • $110 per additional guest/day

    • For outdoor adventures and remote expeditions where your chef is an active part of the trip, crafting fresh, nourishing meals in off-grid settings. This rate includes menu planning & organic groceries for high-energy nutrition, preparing trail-ready snacks and camp meals, & using remote cooking setups.

    • Note: A team member or guide must be responsible for carrying equipment and supplies, allowing the chef to focus on creating exceptional meals for your group.

What types of adventures can you cook for?

We provide chef services for multi-day trips & getaways including mountaineering climbs, luxury camping, rafting expeditions, and backcountry retreats. If your trip requires nourishing, scrumptious meals in remote settings, we can help.

How do you accommodate dietary restrictions and allergies?

We take dietary restrictions and allergies very seriously. During our initial consultation, we discuss your specific requirements to ensure a custom menu that's safe and enjoyable for you and your guests. Some common dietary request we happily accommodate include gluten-free, dairy-free, low sodium, diabetic-friendly, vegan, vegetarian, and pescatarian.

How far in advance do I need to book your services?

We recommend booking 2–3 months in advance, especially for peak adventure season weekends, or at least 14 days in advance for weekdays to ensure we can accommodate your scheduling and dietary needs. Last minute bookings may be possible subject to availability.

What measures do you take for food safety?

We adhere to strict food safety protocols, including the use of fresh ingredients, proper food handling, sanitizing the cooking space, and maintaining cleanliness throughout cooking.

Do you travel with the group during trips & expeditions?

Yes, when requested. This is factored into Expeditions & Adventures pricing.

What makes your service different from regular catering?

Unlike traditional catering, I don’t just deliver precooked food and leave. I’m fully immersed in your event, preparing meals on-site that are wholesome and nutrient-dense. Menus are curated to support your group’s energy, recovery, and enjoyment, with a balance of flavor and variety across the entire trip to elevate the overall experience. You’ll have a dedicated chef focused not just on feeding your guests, but on enhancing the flow and success of your retreat, wedding, or adventure.

When and how do I pay?

We take a 50% deposit to reserve your dates. The remaining balance is due 14 days prior (or 30 days prior for larger retreats, weddings, or expeditions). You can pay by credit card, bank transfer, Venmo, or check.

What’s your cancellation policy?
  • More than 30 days out: your deposit can be refunded minus a $150 processing fee or applied as credit toward a future event.

  • 15–30 days out: the deposit is non-refundable but can be applied as credit within 12 months or donated to a charity.

  • Within 14 days: all payments are non-refundable since ingredients, menu planning, staffing, and prep are already underway. You may choose to have the food donated to a charity.

If something unexpected happens (like illness or emergencies), we’ll work with you to reschedule when possible. My goal is to make this as stress-free as possible while still respecting the time and resources that go into preparing your event.

Should I tip?

While tipping is not required, we would value it as a wonderful way to show appreciation for the hard work and dedication that goes into preparing your meals. Thank you for considering it!

What do I need to do to prepare for your visit?
To make the cooking process efficient, please clear your kitchen counters, ensure the sink and dishwasher are empty, and make space in your refrigerator.
